The ferry to Amsterdam is brilliant and worked for us. The most surprising was Waterland itself. I read Peter Spier's " The Cow who fell into the Canal" to mij 4 jear old grand daughter and here was teh story, all come to life. For the boat-lover in mij life, the vieuw every morning has been a delight. There is so much more to do, we must return.
